Tony De La Rosa is the US Public Sector Product Manager in Cisco’s Enterprise Networking Group Market Strategy Team. One of Tony’s responsibilities is to understand how Cisco’s Unified Access solutions enable personalized learning in education. He works with customers, partners, and field teams to understand trends, applications, and best practices and develops solutions around Cisco’s switching, routing, and wireless solutions. Although Tony has only been at Cisco for two years, he has been positioning wireless in the Education sector since 2006 when schools could not imagine the need for high density wireless. He previously worked at Xirrus as Area Vice President and he was responsible for opening up markets for Xirrus in Western United States, Australia, Thailand, and LATAM. Besides managing sales teams and partners, he was technically engaged with many projects, conducting designs, site surveys and even troubleshooting.
